During the 7th Annual Meeting of the Hongkong Sociological Association, organized by the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Hongkong Polytechnic University - Kowloon Hongkong, the Institute of Philippine Culture presented the TMEA researches in a parallel session on traditional medicine about the theme “Indigenous Medicine and Social Transformation Across Asia”.
A paper entitled “Transitions in the Belief Models and Policy Contexts on Fever: A Philippine Experience”. was presented by Dr. Dennis Batangan.
